The Frog
The day I woke up I saw a tadpole swimming around the pond,
Head like a speck of dust.
Earlier it was tiny but now it’s grown legs.
Fish swim around the frog as it starts to lose its tail.
Running, running, running kicking its legs wildly.
Over at last, the cycle is complete.
Goodbye frog as it hops off into the wild.
